Sumner County Food Bank is a mission outreach of Liberty Baptist Church of Gallatin. As a ministry of the church, your gift is tax deductible under our 501(c)(3) Federal tax exemption agreement.

To be served by this agency, you must reside, with documendation, in Sumner County. No food will be served other than on the designated day.

Our food giveaway is the third Tuesday of each month from 9:00AM until 1:00PM at 1021 Woods Ferry Rd, Gallatin, TN 37066. Please bring a photo ID and a utility bill that shows your Sumner County address.

Due to TN State Laws against discrimination, we will not give food away at any other time of the month. There are other agencies you can contact for daily help. Call Second Harvest in Nashville at (615) 329-3491 for those agencies. Thank you.

We are supported by numerous churches, business and professional men and women who care, hospitals, schools, and loving individuals.

We are unique in that we serve all of Sumner County. Most other agencies serve only the citizens who live within the city limits.

No one in our organization is on salary. We pay rent, we pay for pest control, utilities, and we pay a financial director a monthly fee of $100.00, as required by the I.R.S., but no one including the executive director, director or volunteers are paid a salary. We do what we do because it is what we feel God wants us to do and we reap great benefits from it, peace, joy, and happiness.
